The Green – Film made In Connecticut
Michael Gavin and his partner Daniel have traded life in New York City for the charm of Connecticut’s shoreline. An English teacher at a private high school, Michael and his partner think they can live a simple domestic existence adhering to an unspoken survival code: don't speak up, don't make trouble. Michael’s world is turned upside down when he's accused of engaging in 'inappropriate behavior' with a male student. When the boy runs away from home, his mother’s mercenary boyfriend decides to capitalize on the school's culpability in the alleged affair. With everything in jeopardy, Michael must confront the suspicions of his co-workers, the latent homophobia of his friends and neighbors, and Daniel's doubts about his innocence after the investigation reveals a secret from his past.
